Brooklyn is home base, so we work in every Brooklyn neighborhood. These include Park Slope, Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Sunset Park, Flatbush, Midwood, Crown Heights, and Bedford-Stuyvesant. They also include Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bushwick, Borough Park, Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay, and Brighton Beach. We cover Canarsie, Marine Park, Mill Basin, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, and East New York too.

We serve the whole island. That includes St. George, Tompkinsville, Stapleton, New Brighton, West Brighton, Port Richmond, Grasmere, Rosebank, South Beach, and New Dorp. Long Island work also includes homes with gates, garden apartments, offices, and storefronts. Note that NYC’s intercom rules come from the Multiple Dwelling Law, which applies in New York City. DSS serves all five boroughs of New York City (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island) and Long Island, including Nassau County and parts of Suffolk County. That range covers walk-ups, co-ops, high-rises, and private houses. Suffolk is covered only in part, so confirm a Suffolk address with us before you plan around it. A board or managing agent can reasonably ask any contractor for proof of coverage before approving a job.
Yes. We work on apartment buildings, co-ops, condos, houses, offices, storefronts, and other commercial properties. The equipment differs more than the approach. A multi-family building usually needs an entry panel and a station in each apartment, a house may need one video door station, and an office or shop often needs keypads, key fobs, or card readers on the doors that staff use every day.
Intercom repair, door buzzer repair, video intercom installation, audio-to-video upgrades, security cameras, access control, locks, and cabling are available in every area we serve. The service list does not change by borough. What changes is the building. A Manhattan high-rise, a Queens two-family house, and a Nassau storefront each have different wiring, which is why we inspect before giving you a quote.

State codes also apply there. Because each town can have its own building rules, an owner on Long Island should check with the local building department about what a particular property needs before planning an intercom project.
